Text Banking

Text us! Text Banking is a great way to get account balances and transaction history on your phone without using your data. Itís simple, secure, and free.

Simply text your request and receive your account information instantly. With Text Banking, you can check your account balance and view the last four transactions posted to your account.

Activate Your Text Banking

Log in to Online Banking > Click on the Options tab > Click on Mobile Settings > Click on Text Mobile Settings > Check Enable text access for your mobile device

  • Enter your mobile phone number
  • Select your wireless provider from the drop-down menu
  • Check the accounts you wish to access through Text Banking
  • Click Submit and Confirm that your information is correct
  • Reply YES to the text message you receive on your mobile device.
  • You will then receive a confirmation message and may begin using Text Banking!

Text Banking Guide

Text one of the following codes to 89549Helpful Hint: Save 89549 as a contact in your mobile device.

     Bal = Account balances for all accounts

     Bal Account Name = Account balance of the specified account

     Hist = Last four transactions that have posted to all accounts

     Hist Account Name = Last four transactions that have posted to the specified account

     Help = Text codes

     Stop = Un-enroll in Text Banking

Our mobile website is great for users who browse the internet on their mobile device. Log on to Mobile Banking by visiting www.bankofadvance.com on your mobile device. Just like Online Banking, itís fast, convenient and secure.

View account balances and transaction history, transfer funds and even pay bills all from your phoneís internet browser. Our mobile site also allows you to search Bank of Advance locations and ATMs.

Activate the Mobile Site

  • Visit www.bankofadvance.com on your mobile device
  • Click Online Banking Login
  • Sign in using your Online Banking login information
  • Agree to the Terms and Conditions
  • Enter your mobile phone number and select your wireless provider
  • Click Enroll
  • Click My Accounts

24 Hour Telephone Banking

Telephone Banking is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our free, automated telephone banking service enables you to obtain account information such as your current balance and transaction history, transfer funds between accounts, and even fax yourself recent account information.

With one simple phone call you can find out:

  • How to make a loan payment or transfer money from one account to another over the phone.
  • Your memo posted balance (current balance adjusted by items presented since the close of the  previous business day)
  • Information on recent deposits and withdrawals
  • The interest earned or paid on your account
  • Information on your loan accounts
  • And more

SHAZAM® BOLT$

When suspicious card activity occurs, nobody is better equipped to handle the case than you. After all, you know what you've purchased and you can spot an unauthorized transaction instantly.

SHAZAM® BOLT$ acts like a high-tech, early warning system that immediately alerts you to potentially fraudulent activity.  You will automatically receive email alerts regarding your debit card purchases on your smartphone, tablet or home computer.

Customize your alert settings to notify you when purchases exceed a preset amount, transactions occur in a foreign country or your debit card number is used but your card is not present, such as telephone or internet purchases.  You can also check your account balance information anytime, anywhere.

Register your Bank of Advance debit card at https://bolts.shazam.net or visit the app store on your iPhone or Android phone to download the mobile app.  Click on New Mobile Card User and follow the step-by-step instructions.  After successfully registering your debit card, be sure to set up your alerts by clicking on Card Alert Settings (Alerts & Settings for app users). To be notified every time your debit card is used, put a check mark next to Transactions Over and set the transaction amount to $1.
